The London Honey Company
Distinctive brand for a unique company
Leading the way in urban beekeeping
The London Honey Company produces honey in its most pure and natural state. Since 1999, it has been leading the way in urban beekeeping, with hives operating on London’s most iconic rooftops, including: The Tate; the Victoria & Albert Museum; and Fortnum and Mason.
We created a distinctive and sophisticated brand identity. We worked closely with London Honey to design the range of packaging for a bumper crop and a selection of honeys, across which the bee symbol appears in different formations.

Maximum impact and minimum fuss
Cut straight from the hive, honeycomb from the London Honey Company is a delicious treat. The packaging for this needed to reflect the unique qualities of the product with maximum impact and minimum fuss.
Alongside the core jars of London Honey, we also produced packaging for a small range of speciality honeys from hives hidden in locations across Britain. Available from some of the UK's finest food purveyors; Harvey Nichols, Fortnum & Mason, La Fromagerie and The Savoy Tearooms – these labels show the country cousins of our City-worker bee.
Drive more traffic and increase sales
As part of the launch, we oversaw an overhaul of the brand's website, to enhance user experience, drive more traffic and increase sales. The shop is built on the Big Cartel platform, which provides the right mix of real-time stats, SEO, order management, and promotional tools.
Brand sting
Our suggestion of a short film appearing on the London Honey site has proven successful, as it playfully captures the essence of the brand. We've since created brand films for many of our other clients.
